Themeworks

At MadOverFish we continuously strive to create natural & original designs. With our extensive experience travelling the world over and observing animals in their wild surroundings it allows us to build some of the most stunning landscapes and habitats for variety of species be it on land or underwater. Our theme work builds are not only nature inspired but we use the most appropriate material which are eco-friendly and animal friendly finally.

Aquascaping

Our underwater themes can be inspired from Nature and also a combination of what the project needs to represent.

Dryscaping

There are exhibits which represent the habitat of a particular species, and are in a glass or acrylic box. However the natural themes are realistically to be crafted

Landscaping

When you master plan a project, a theme is developed. It could be African theme or go deep inside a particular region in Kenya. They are always throughly thought off.

Horticulture

Choosing the right variety of plants, trees, shrubs or even herbs and even importing from specific suppliers is the only way to create real nature based plantations.

Pondscaping

You always observe the pond from the top and not through it. The surroundings and how they blend into a natural looking pond play critical role.

Zen Gardens

Inspired from the Japanese themes, using the golden rations and elements of Bonsai, our Zen gardens can turn out mesmerizing. With Koi ponds as the main feature it cant get better.

Rockwork

There are large walls and facades of zoo exhibits that need to be covered. Inside or outside the exhibit our GFRC techniques and processes are swift and awesome to look at.

Artificial Reef

With our tie up with Pangea Rocks, and using a special blend of Polyusterene and inert concrete mixes for underwater themes

Underwater Coral

Detailing, Realistic and just the way it is. We simply replicate what we observe in many of our scuba diving endeavors.

FRP Theming

FRP themes are used where extreme detailing is paramount, where human is in close contact with. For e.g. a statue or a model of a Tiger.

Waterfalls

Waterfalls inspired by specialised landscaping architects, going through literally millions of photos and videos personally shot, and proper waterflow management.

Creating story lines are depcited best with 3D relief and Mural art works.

Aquascaping

We have created literally thousands of themes underwater since inception. They have evolved and are always improving & evolving. Various color combinations, various underwater sections from oceans and rivers around the world – there is an unlimited platter

Dryscaping

Dryscaping differentiates itself from anything above the water, part of exhibits, they are tuned and designed for the animal or a variety of community animals. Huge Kopje rocks as found in the Savanna s of Africa, or a large mountain based theme from the Himalayas or cold desert.

Landscaping

At MadOverFish we specialize in landscaping for the Zoo, Wildlife Safari, Bird Aviaries & Nature parks which exhibit the purist form of landscape and not the contemporary styles. Our design theory revolve with emulating the nature from various forests around the world.

Horticulture

Choosing the right species of plants and developing around the Permaculture philosophy which makes the entire ecosystem natural as far as possible with zero power consumptions and zero addition of chemical fertilizers, where the relationship between each rock, water streams, plants, herbs form a great symbiosis.

Pondscaping

Recreation ponds is what we specialise in. Why create a swimming pool for humans which is chlorinated and is mostly like a square box. We create a true eco-system where we can develop ponds where Japanese Koi fish thrive and you can take a plunge yourself. This is far more exciting experience – and yes if you want to develop Swim reefs, with saltwater fish and still swim in that.

Zen Gardens

Gardens that include lots of specific Bamboo varieties, Japanese original rocks or replicated rocks from GFRC, getting the Golden Ratios right, including a nature based waterfall submerging into a Koi fish pond, and adding Gazebos with Black roof using Shou Sugi Ban method that allows natural wood to last close to 100 years.

Rockwork

GFRC rock works can be done in a variety of ways. We use recycled materials, and try to create impact to environment as close to zero as possible. This doesn’t compromise the final outcome where natural pigment based materials provide great and almost ever lasting finishing touches. The trick we employ is to emulate how a rock will look aged, and do that on the first day so over years it simply keeps blending without needing rework.

Artificial Reef

We have a huge plethora of detailed silicone molds – only for extra large pieces. Theme creation for Artificial reef needs exact color combinations that can work under high intensity Marine lighting without degradation. Part of our responsibility is to NOT disturb or scavenge from the oceans and simply understand and try to build ceramic structures.

Underwater Coral

Corals come in 1000s of shapes, varieties and colours. How to use them in which combination is what makes the difference. Also how it is integrated into the Artificial reef structures plays an even more important role. Choice of fish to be planned in future also decides the right path towards which corals to use. We have tie-ups with Pangea rocks, Denmark for supply and use of Artificial corals.

FRP Theming

At MadOverFish , FRP theming is done only by specialised artists from partner companies. We try and strive and achieve to create realistic animal modles, statues and nature based items that need light weight application and have to be introduced in existing exhibts where on-the-site construction may get little diecy.

Waterfalls

Artificial waterfalls that blend into the surrounding so exceptionally well that you would be hard pressed to think that it isn’t unreal. Simply stunning, and why – we simply copy Nature but integrate the practicality of waterproofing and waterflows with inbuilt piping and flow adjustments.

3D Wall Art & Murals

A storyline that can be depicted in an artistic and relief work is a great way to create the journey in time. There are places where keeping real animals and fish may get tricky due to the environment where few customers have to be contend with Nature based art work – and that’s where we would use these themes
